Hosted aboard the Stargazer while docked at the scenic Riverwalk in Downtown Wilmington, this service offers the flexibility to tailor a ceremony that aligns with your unique wishes. A designated date and time will be arranged, ensuring ample opportunity for a personal and meaningful ceremony before the vessel departs for the sea burial.

Journey to the Final Resting Place
After the heartfelt shoreside homage, the Stargazer will embark on a poignant journey, gliding through the historic waters of the Cape Fear River, then proceeding along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway. The voyage continues, passing through Masonboro Inlet, culminating near the iconic Oceanic Restaurant Pier. It is here, amidst these serene and storied waters, that you will tender your final adieus to your loved one, marking a dignified and memorable farewell. Following the conclusion of your heartfelt farewells near the iconic Oceanic Restaurant Pier, the Stargazer will set a course further offshore, journeying three miles to the Meers Harris Reef. It is in these tranquil and dignified waters, adjacent to the historic Liberty Ship Wreck, that we will respectfully disseminate the ashes. This serene and significant location offers a fitting and peaceful resting place, ensuring a profound and memorable tribute to your loved one.
Pricing and Customization
Our Shore Side Service starts at $950, with rates and timings subject to variation based on departure location, area of service, and specific client preferences. For passengers wanting to travel with Stargazer on this ceremony, it is an additional $75 per passenger up to 6 passengers.
